Mission Statement of ITSO
The Information Technology Services Office (ITSO) aims to provide best-in-class IT services to support the vision and strategy of the University. ITSO’s mission is to ensure that the University's IT environment progresses together with technology advancement, providing a reliable and secure infrastructure for teaching, learning, research, and administration.
To achieve this, ITSO focuses on:
- Maintaining an advanced and secure IT infrastructure.
- Developing and upholding University-wide data, technology, and cybersecurity standards and policies.
- Collaborating with technical staff across different academic units to ensure a cohesive IT structure.
- Building and maintaining an integrated portfolio of information systems that support central administrative processes.
- Developing a comprehensive administrative information database accessible to authorized users.
- Advising, assisting, and training the University community on IT services.
- Providing consultation services to facilitate departmental administrative operations and to ensure best practices in using IT systems and technologies.
