ITSO provides HPC services to HKUST researchers, based on the Purdue community cluster model, with funding from Schools or Departments and ITSO handling purchases, infrastructure, hosting, and maintenance.
ITSO undertakes various initiatives to safeguard the university's digital assets and secure its IT infrastructure.
ITSO arranges training workshops and seminars throughout the year to keep students up to date on technology trends.
Upon the successful completion of graduation/course requirements as determined by the Academic Registry Office, the HKUST Account for students will undergo an automatic transition to an Alumni account.
