Mass Communication
ITSO provides channels for group communications, namely through email mailing lists and SMS.
With mailing lists, members of the campus community may create lists, subscribe, unsubscribe from lists, manage subscription preferences. There are also system mailing lists for teaching courses and various University administration purposes (e.g. All staff, All UG, All PG lists, Refreshable lists), where list membership is maintained by system and restricted to change by individuals.
Alternatively, departments may choose to send by SMS to a group of recipients. This service is target for departments that need to send SMS messages to a large group of recipients.
