Personal Data Privacy by PCPD and VPABO / ISO

This seminar will introduce the Personal Data Privacy Ordinance including the six data protection principles and relevant real cases will be illustrated. A brief introduction of EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and comparison between the PDPO & GDPR are also include. It helps staff members to understand how to protect personal data properly when engaging in online activities or when handling student and staff affairs. Furthermore, VPABO / ISO will also share the data privacy in HKUST after the PCPD's presentation.
