Getting Started

Power

  • Turn on the AV system by tapping on the protector button on AV Touch Panel located on the lectern top, and select "lectern PC"
  • Turn on the computer which under the drawer

Login

  • User need to login with vaild HKUST account
  • Please logout or shutdown after use

  • Touch monitor with resolution 1920*1080
  • There are two or four USB ports in front of the PC
  • Adjustable USB webcam on monitor with microphone
  • Rear-end camera
  • Visualizer
  • Ceiling (for specific classroom), wireless, and wired microphone
  • UST staff can borrow equipment from our servicedesk for presentation

Energy Saving

  • PC will turn on screensaver in 30 mintues and turn off the display after 35 mintues of idle
  • Press any button on keyboard or mouse can wake it up
