Dear Faculty Members and HPC4 users,
HKUST HPC4 is a high-performance computing cluster comprising Intel and AMD CPU nodes, as well as Nvidia GPU nodes, and is designed to support the scientific computing requirements of HKUST researchers.
To further encourage HKUST researchers to use HPC4 for their research activities, the subsidy for HPC4 will be increased to 70% from 1 Jan to 30 Jun 2026. Principal Investigators (PIs) who have already applied for the subsidy will be automatically transitioned to the new rate and do not need to reapply.
HKUST HPC4 is project-based, enabling group members to work together efficiently in a collaborative environment. New PIs interested in using HPC4 may follow the links below for account and subsidy application.
