Emergency Shutdown of HPC4 GPU Servers – Cooling System Incident (2 May 2026)

Dear HPC4 Users, 

An incident has been discovered this morning (2 May 2026) involving the failure of two cooling pumps in HPCIC, which is affecting three immersion tanks hosting GPU servers, including, A30, L20, RTX4090D and RTX5880 in HPC4. 

While CMO is investigating the issue, as a precautionary measure to prevent potential hardware damage resulting from excessive temperature, all affected GPU servers have been proactively powered down.
