Microsoft Copilot (formerly Bing Chat) works best with the Microsoft Edge browser and login with an ITSO user account to enable data protection.
Login to Microsoft Copilot by using your HKUST account for Data Protection
Go to Microsoft Copilot webpage (https://copilot.cloud.microsoft/) and click on the “Sign in” button. Enter your HKUST account (e.g. xxx@ust.hk) in the Sign-in screen, then input your password. 2FA checking may be required during login.
Using your ITSO username and password to login to Microsoft Copilot will enable data protection which is required if you need to deal with sensitive information. Without logging to Microsoft Copilot with an HKUST account, you may need to desensitize your sensitive data to avoid your data is used by Microsoft Copilot.
