Pilot run of Exchange Online

With the success of Office 365 for students for a number of years, Office 365 platform facilitated better communication and collaboration amongst students’ community.   To bring these advantages to staff, ITSO has an initiative to migrate on-premise Exchange for staff to Exchange Online shortly.

Exchange Online features highlight:

  • 100GB mailbox quota and unlimited archive mailbox storage space
  • Direct save email attachment in Outlook to your 5TB OneDrive for Business cloud storage and SharePoint sites
  • A highly modernized Outlook web client

Besides these usability features, the migration also allows us to enhance security at a later time so that email access can be fully safeguarded by 2FA.  

During the migration, access to email will be interrupted.  You may need to either re-logon using your email address, or re-configure your email clients.  Please refer to the URL below for details
