Dear Students,

The HKUST SuperPOD system is a state-of-the-art AI supercomputing facility, which is established as a platform to support GPU computational needs for the University’s research activities. The HKUST SuperPOD is now accepting pilot use application from enrolled students of UROP Spring 2023-24 who have specific AI computational requirements relevant to their projects. The UROP Office will review the applications by considering the students’ projects, students’ prior knowledge of AI computation, students’ understanding on the processes and outcomes of their computational tasks and the availability of a suitable data set. Students must submit the form by 16 February 2024 and provide detailed justification to support their applications.
