Problem setting the SMTP server with my Gmail account

Please note that Microsoft has announced to disable Basic Auth in Exchange Online, and ITSO will stop supporting it starting from 1 Jan 2022 for students and Jun 2022 for alumni.

You are advised to access your mailbox using Outlook on the web or email clients like Outlook for Windows, Outlook for Mac, Outlook for Android, Outlook for iOS or other email tools that that supports modern authentication (OAuth2).
