ITSO provides the following teaching tools and facility to support teaching and learning activities at HKUST:

• Personal Response System (PRS) for allowing students to respond to an instructor’s questions in class.
• Multiple Choice Marking System for scoring and analysing multiple choice tests, exams and surveys.
• Attendance Taking System (ATS) for tracking and managing class attendance at HKUST for both staff and students.
