This page provides sample instructions for HKUST Alumni to set up Apple iOS / iPadOS devices to connect to Alumni Wi-Fi Service.

Configure and Access Alumni Wi-Fi Service

Step 1: Bring Up Wireless Network Connection Menu

1. Tap Settings > Wi-Fi in the home screen

2. Change the option of Wi-Fi to ON

3. Tap Alumni

   

Step 2: Enter User Name and Password

1. Enter your Alumni Account ( with @connect.ust.hk / @alumni.ust.hk ) in Username field

2. Enter your Alumni Password in Password field

3. Tap Join

Step 3: Verify Certificate

1. Make sure Thawte TLS RSA CA G1 and wireless.ust.hk are shown

2. Tap More Details

3. Make sure FINGERPRINTS > SHA-1 is 06 97 4A A0 CD 2A 7F 5C 80 00 E2 F4 56 40 9F 69 E4 8A 5E 59

4. Tap Trust
